For 3 days, we ministered the love of Christ in the Oromifa language speaking community in the town of Jeldu. Jeldu is situated
about 115 km from the capital city, Addis Ababa. The team travel by rental car since the engine in our car is in repair, and the Lord
provided safety during the journey.
It is a fact that many residents here claim their orthodox religious descent, yet, the majority are under the bondage of evil spirits and
influence of the witch doctors’ teaching. The Lord granted us such favour with the people and we were free to pray and preach,
witness healing from different diseases and deliverance from the evil spirits.
Over 2,500 people gathered to watch “Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames” and, at the altar call, we received 32 people who came up
to accept Jesus Christ as their own Saviour. Another 8 stepped forward to rededicate their lives to God. The church leader was so
happy and testified that he had never seen any evangelistic ministry that impacted his local community in such a powerful way!
This was our first time ministering in the Arbaminch neighbourhood. Jointly with Wongel Begeter church, we have preached and
prayed in the afternoons and the crowd was getting bigger by the hour daily. Over two evenings of "Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s
Flames" presentations, the Lord gathered about 8,000 people, a big majority of whom were teens and young adults, and many
were restored, delivered from evil spirits, physically healed from various diseases, and surely blessed. As registered by Wongel
Begeter church for a follow up program, during the altar call 175 brave individuals left the crowd and came forward to give their lives
to Jesus, and about 50 people rededicate their walk with God.
After receiving the gift of salvation, Tamirat Ashenafi shared with us that he had many unanswered questions about life and the
Orthodox religion, which he had followed, was not helping him in search for the truth. Tamirat kept going to the Orthodox church
just to be with his friends because he did not want to lose them. Though he has earned a fairly good income, Tamirat experienced
no peace, felt unhappy and empty. After watching the drama and accepting Jesus as his God and Redeemer, Tamirat’s false
beliefs were gone and he, for the first time, understood what Jesus has done on the cross and through resurrection. He finally saw
Christ as the only true God.”
Solomon is a young boy with a big heart for God. He went to the church regularly, but was not aware of the meaning and
importance of receiving Jesus as a personal saviour. He said that many religious traditions and rituals overshadowed the simple
message of the love of Christ. After Solomon watched the presentation, God opened the boy’s mind and he realized that if he dies
not admitting his wrongs and asking for forgiveness he would be casted in hell. Solomon was so glad to accept Jesus as God’s
grace and know that Heaven is his future home.

Pastor Ari Urhonen, just recently moved to the town of Joensuu. He
invited pastors of various evangelical denominations to reach their town
together. They placed posters around the town, printed a special news
flyer pertaining to the event and believers delivered it to 42,000 homes.
All churches worked together to raise funds and rented Joensuu’s
University hall for the drama performances.
Besides the Baptist, Lutheran, and Pentecostal churches involved in It
was interesting how the Holy Spirit prompted us to assign the devil’s
role to a man from the Adventist fellowship. After the drama, his belief
on the subject of “no hell after the judgment day” was shattered and he
was taking God’s Word on it. Through the whole weekend, there was
an enormous spirit of unity, which is not very common for cross-
denominational churches in Finland.
As drama nights started on Sunday, everyone realized that we can’t fit
all people in the hall. Loaded buses kept arriving, despite the
snowstorm. On Monday and Tuesday nights, we kept asking Christians
to give up their seats in order to accommodate non-church people. Yet
regretfully, we had to turn some away from the doors. At the altar call,
people started to pour to the front. Shortly, the platform was filled with
people crying and praying for God to forgive them, and the counsellors
were right there assisting new believers and praying for them. In 3
performances, the Lord added 130 to His family; yet each night, there
were many more raised hands of those who made decision to trust
Jesus but didn’t come forward. The pastors agreed to pass out a form
for people in the audience to fill in their contact info if they wish a follow
up visit. Thousands of filled forms were collected after the drama. From
the forms, we learned that people were very moved and about 200
wrote that they prayed a sinner’s prayer while in their seats. In Finland,
this is absolutely extraordinary!
After the event, one pastor received an email from a lady who prayed a
sinner’s prayer on her way back home while in her car. She was deeply
touched by the drama and even could not move. While driving, she
realized that Jesus cares for her and she accepted His gift. Another
message came in that one whole family got saved. Several foreigners
came to the Lord and I personally prayed with 2 Portuguese girls,
students at Joensuu University.
God did marvellous things in Joensuu, Finland…Praise Him!

We praise God for the small church in Birzai, Lithuania, and the step of faith
taken by Pastor Linas Snaraiga and his wife, Vera, to use the HGHF drama
to evangelize their minor size community.
We believe we were directed by the Lord to work with this church together
to translate, record and mix the whole drama into the Lithuanian language
and put on a live presentation at the local cultural centre. To have the
permission to stage the drama was also a miracle because the cultural
centre had not passed the fire hazard inspection and people from the Fire
Department were present, keeping their eyes on the place.
Despite all, one performance blessed many hearts. The pastor invited
people from the local Catholic church to act and, among them, were
religious sceptics. It didn’t stop the work of the Holy Spirit and several
people raised their hands and prayed to receive the gift of salvation.
Afterwards, a few came up to thank God for this ministry. The pastor’s son,
who acted in the construction scene, testified that right after the drama, his
best friend was killed in a car accident and 3 others are in the hospital. This
young man was on fire and ready to go and share the love of Jesus with his
3 badly injured friends.
Several other Lithuanian pastors came to see the drama and were very
inspired to reach their communities by inviting us. We hope that our next
crusade in the fall in Mazekai town will bless many Lithuanians and prompt
their hearts to trust Jesus.

With the help of “Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames”
drama ministry as an evangelistic tool over the past
number of years, the church in Gizycko has planted
small fellowships in the neighboring communities.
This time, a cinema hall was rented for 3 nights. A few
days prior to the presentation, someone from the
nearby Military Base in Gizycko called the director of
the cinema and inquired about the weekend special.
The director, who is a good friend of the pastor of the
church, explained about the drama and free of charge
entrance. Some top officers must have liked the idea
because on Sunday night, ten minutes before the
drama was to begin, about 150 soldiers appeared and
the total crowd was the biggest ever in the cinema. We
estimated that over 3 nights, more than 800 people
came to see "Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames."
I (Pawel) have felt very strongly that during the altar
call I must briefly share my testimony about my growing
up in a home where alcohol was a big problem, and
how God has saved me just when I was contemplating
to commit a suicide. The big crowd responded and we
could see many soldiers in tears.
Alcohol is still a number one problem in many Polish
homes and these young men could relate to my
testimony and God's love for them. When I called the
people forward, the soldiers did not stay in their seats,
as the pastor expected, but almost all of them came to
the front, among other people. Believers, cast
members and I had to hold our tears and laughter, at
the same time, because the Lord had done a
marvelous act of salvation.
To God be the glory!

Right after the presentation in Ocna Mures, the pastor called to tell
us that, through the HGHF drama, their small town has been turned
upside-down. He said that everybody in the town talks about the
drama in public places and, after we left, people kept coming to the
church thinking that there is another evening performance.
The Pastor shared, “For a church gathering of 175 believers, it was
beyond our imagination to welcome around 2000 people over 4
drama performances. The event posters prompted the town’s
residents arrive in multitudes to the play one hour before because
people were eager to have a seat and watch the drama. It was an
absolute move of the Holy Spirit who stirred up tired and thirsty-for-
truth people to come out every evening. As the message of salvation
was demonstrated through this simple drama, more than 250 new
decisions to trust and follow Christ were recorded. We were so
blessed and decided to perform one additional play on the last day."
We give praise to the Lord for such abundant harvest and the many
lives that are set free.
Today, we can share the Gospel in crowded halls. I pray that God
raises pastors and gives us places and churches to proclaim our
faith in Jesus for many to know and trust the Lord.”

"It’s always been awesome and a great pleasure to work with Reality Outreach Ministries. This is probably the fifth time we have had this ministry to Trinidad.... The dramas 'Last Chance' and 'Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames' have contributed tremendously to people coming to Jesus Christ.
Months after this drama is gone you STILL have people coming to Jesus Christ.

When a visitor from another church came to the evening
performance, he was met by a man who welcomed him saying, “We
are glad to see you here.” The visitor recognized that the greeter is
the same person who took money from him on 2 occasions and beat
him several times. The thought went to the believer’s mind, “What is
this criminal doing here, pretending to be a Christian in the play?”
Our visitor was struggling, harbouring anger in his heart. When the
live presentation was over, the believer decided to talk to his offender
and through the power of the Holy Spirit he was able to forgive the
greeter. How marvellous that these 2 men were enemies once and
now are good friends. Thanks be to God!
Alina was involved in promoting the drama and she invited a man who
said, “No, that is not for me, but I will send 15 people.” It is a mystery
of God that 5 of them came and received salvation!
Natalya, who acted in the Mother and Daughter scene, lost her
husband and 5 other family members within 6 years. When her
mother passed away just not long ago, Natalya was getting crazy
and the thoughts of death kept her down. One time, she was at her
mother’s grave crying until late evening. By then, everyone had left
the cemetery and Natalya was all alone reading names and dates of
those young people who have died. She said, “Surely, I’m next, yet, I
want to live!” Immediately, Natalya heard a strong voice saying, “Ask
God! He can save you!” She came to the drama and repented. Her
words were, “I feel so free and have no fears of death. It’s a miracle, I
believe!”

Presenting "Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames" on the Black Sea coast
in Simferopol was an absolute miracle and we are so thankful to our
Lord for the opportunity.
The church is very young with just about 25 people; yet, believers
were very diligent and distributed 1500 invitations around the capital
city of Crimea. It was incredible to witness people pour in off the
streets to see the Drama, which was performed nearby the
Parliament building.
